MATH 323 - Linear Algebra

This course is for mathematics and science majors, and students interested in earning a double major in math. Therefore, the emphasis should be on mastering the mathematics of the subject, including concepts, definitions, proofs, and problem solving.
The topics will include: Linear equations and matrices; real vector spaces, linear transformations, change of bases, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, diagonalization, inner products.
Note: This is a fall or spring schedule. In summer, this schedule is accelerated by a factor of 3 in order to accommodate a 5-week session.
