This course focuses on problems, methods, and recent developments in Mathematical Biology. Topics will include infectious-disease modeling, biochemical reaction networks, neural codes, and other topics of interest to students in the course. A reference textbook for the course is "Algebraic and Combinatorial Computational Biology", edited by Raina Robeva and Matthew Macauley. Students will complete projects on a topic of their choosing. There are no prerequisites; the course is open to all graduate students.
